Thank you very much!

Dear fellow citizens,

At the municipal elections on 11th June 2023, you once again placed your trust in LSAP Roeserbann, the mayor's team. As before in 2011, you have once again given us an absolute majority of seats on the municipal council. Many thanks.

It is an additional motivation for us to implement as best we can the electoral programme that we presented to you a few weeks ago. We would like to thank our current coalition partners, and especially their successive aldermen, Suzette Dostert-Wagener, Marianne Pesch-Dondelinger and Erny Strecker, for their loyalty, honesty and good cooperation over the past few years.

We are aware of the great responsibility that has been entrusted to us thanks to your trust and the absolute majority that this has given us on the Municipal Council. We promise you that we will always place the general interest at the centre of our political action and that we will continue to work with you to move our municipality forward. We also wish to continue to work honestly and loyally with the other political parties and their six elected members from the CSV, DP and déi Gréng. We expect the same from our political opponents.

We are currently working on the declaration of the working programme of the College of Aldermen for the next legislature, so that the Municipal Council can meet for the first time after the municipal elections in the coming weeks. In this context, we invited the 3 other parties represented in the municipal council to an exchange about their respective priorities in order to possibly include one or the other point in the declaration of the College of Aldermen.

Our elected representatives also met recently to decide how to organise themselves for the coming years. To this end, a few days ago we proposed Tom Jungen to the Minister of the Interior as the new and former mayor, and we proposed the next two elected members of the LSAP list, Bettina Ballmann and Angelo Lourenço, as the new aldermen for the municipality of Roeser.

Edy Reding will of course accept his mandate as a local councillor and will assist the College of Aldermen alongside Sandra Carelli, Erny Fisch and Yves Damy, a new member of the Local Council. Edy Reding will also take on the role of LSAP spokesperson on the Local Council.
