- With the completion of the new assembly room (“Veräinssall”) in Roeser at the end of this year, the range of activites offered by the regional music school in Roeser will be broadened. The extended range of instrument courses, especially for wind instruments, will also give an additional boost to our municipal band’s efforts to promote young musicians. In addition, the new building will also provide room for the local choirs.

- Planning work for an additional gymnasium to be built for school and association sports as part of the school campus in Berchem will be completed this year, so that construction can begin in 2024.

- The old tennis courts in Berchem have been transferred to Crauthem. The new facilities are still available to the tennis club, but can also be used more easily for school-based sports and extracurricular activities organised by the daycare centre.

- A new edition of the Edward Steichen photo competition was organised to mark the 50th anniversary of the death of this famous photographer, who was born in our municipality.

- A first edition of “Kultur am Klouschtergaart” was organised last year in the garden of the Peppange convent and will be repeated this year.
